Australian artist Marilyn Dann was first captivated by the joy of painting and drawing during early childhood. As a teacher and university lecturer, wife and mother, Marilyn always has found time to paint weekly with a group of close friends.

Tutored by landscape artist Kevin Boucher, Marilyn has developed her own way of seeing and interpreting her subjects. She paints in acrylics and oils, typically preferring oils for their richness and depth of colour.

Marilyn paints water-, sea- and landscapes in spring, summer and autumn. In winter she paints still life in her Melbourne studio.
